We want to love our furry friend as much as we do ourselves. But can we love them like that? In most cases, yes. However, not in all cases. You can guess why I am saying no. Many of us feed our furry friend what we eat. It’s not necessarily bad, but we have to understand that not all foods are good for them. As we adopt our dog as a part of our life, we need to be aware of these pros and cons. We have to remember that we are responsible for them now. Nothing should be unknown to us.
Today, we will discuss “Egg Rolls” as dog food.
Veterinarian’s opinion-
We all love eggs to some extent, and we know about their nutritional properties. Doctors also give various opinions in this regard, often discussing egg whites and yolks separately.
Speaking from my own ignorance, I once asked my pet’s doctor out of curiosity if I could feed my furry friend “Egg Rolls.” He would walk around me while I ate “Egg Rolls,” and I thought he liked them. After seeing this for a while, I gave him some of my food one day, and he took it very easily. Now, tell me, are “Egg Rolls” safe for my dog?
The doctor was silent for a while and then told me, “Look, we all want to feed our dogs lots of food, but we also want them to be healthy. So, if that is the case, we have to give up some habits. One of these is, unknowingly feeding him our food especially “egg rolls”
Why don’t doctors recommend feeding dogs “egg rolls”?
We certainly know how “Egg Rolls” are made. There is an excess of oil, salt, and many other ingredients that are not good for our dog’s health. Eating “Egg Rolls” can cause various problems in our dogs, including gastric issues and ulcers. So, as a doctor, I would never suggest feeding “Egg Rolls” to your dog.
I never feed my furry friend “Egg Rolls” after learning this.
I talked to a few more people after that. They also gave me very good advice, which I want to share with you. Let’s get started.
I collected information about egg rolls from various hotels and restaurants. I went to them and asked, “What ingredients do you use to make these egg rolls? Can you tell me and show me how to make them?” They turned me down at first. They refused to do it. Then, I tried to convince them for a while, and eventually, I was able to persuade them. They understood that I was researching it for my dog.
They started making egg rolls right in front of me and explained the ingredients. Egg rolls are not only made with eggs and oil but also with a variety of vegetables and protein ingredients like chicken or pork. Moreover, very spicy seasonings are used, all wrapped in a deep-fried dough wrapper. Egg rolls often contain ingredients such as onion, garlic, and extra salt.
I then realized why the doctor was telling me not to feed them to my dog. In fact, our eating habits and dog eating habits are not the same. What we can digest, dogs may not be able to digest. Their bodies and ours are not the same.
Additionally, these highly spicy foods can damage our dog’s kidneys. So, without further delay, we should all stop giving “egg rolls” to our dogs immediately.
